Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
Once a young man in a wheelchair approached the base of the paraglide take off in Canoa Quebrada. Jerônimo saw him and invited him to fly. The young man first thought that Jerônimo was joking, but after a lot of insistence, he finally agreed to fly. This proved a great experience for everybody. It was then that Jerônimo had the idea to invite and free all the local people on wheelchair. It was the beginning of the story of those who can not walk, but can fly! (Please, it is forbidden to cry!)
Pickup info: Arriving from Broadway over the Red Cliffs before the beach, you will find the paraglide base on your left hand, just in front of the Catholic Church.
