Two Italians, Giovanni Vinci and Mauro Gianissi are the owners of Pousada La Dolce Vita. La Dolce Vita, as all admirers of the great Italian film director Federico Fellini know, means the Sweet. Giovanni and Mauro divide their time between Italy and Canoa Quebrada, living 6 months of the year in each place. Normally Mauro stays in Canoa Quebrada from February to July and Giovanni from August to January.
