First day: The first destination on the "Rota das Falésias Tour - Budget Category Accommodation" is a little village located beside the estuary of a little uncontaminated tropical river that, arriving at the sea, forms spectacular landscapes. The name of this little bit of Paradise is Águas Belas, which means "Beautiful Waters". After check-in, you will have the rest of the day and night free.
Second day: The day is free to bathe in the blue waters of the Malcozinhado river estuary, contemplating its astonishing landscapes. Local people say that here the sun kisses the moon and the river hugs the sea! To better explore this beautiful scenario a little boat excursion in the river is included. We suggest that you also visit Águas Belas beach (for a few Reals, you can contract a buggy to go there, less than 1 km away) where, in the Bebica Tent you will have the opportunity to eat the local gastronomic specialties based on sardines: it has to be tasted to be believed! Still on the topic of Sardines, don't miss the opportunity to taste the "Moqueca de Sardinhas" served in the Jangadas da Caponga Hotel; it's a must!
Third day: After breakfast (unhurried, please: you are enjoying your holidays in Brazil!), check-out of your hotel in Águas Belas, where a vehicle with driver will meet you and take you less than 40 km away, to Morro Branco and Praia das Fontes, the beaches of the town of Beberibe. These beaches are famous for their coloured sands and it is here that the "Falésias" or Colored Cliffs actually begin. After check-in at the hotel you will have time to bathe in the sea and taste some fresh seafood in a tent. At 3:30 pm you will be picked up to visit Sitio Lucas, an ancient Brazilian "Fazenda", where you will see how "cachaça", the typical Brazilian spirit distilled from sugar cane, is made just as it was made 200 years ago; you will also taste cheese and sweets produced here, and visit the surroundings on horseback or in chariots. At night, we suggest you dance the forro, the fun local dance.
Fourth day: Today you will have your first buggy ride. Also, you will visit the Gruta da Mãe d'Água (Cave of the Mother of Water) among other attractions, and you will have the opportunity to bathe in the authentic "Fountain of Youth". The best time to do this fun excursion on the beaches is during low tide: your local connection will inform you about it when you book the tour. The night is free.
Fifth day: You will leave Beberibe to go to famous Canoa Quebrada Beach. On the way there you will visit the interesting architectural and historical heritage of Aracati, with its ancient church and the facades of the houses covered by old colonial era tiles. Continue to Canoa Quebrada and check-in at your pousada. Some free time to go the beach, where, at 3 pm a buggy will pick you up for a fascinating ride on the dunes, visiting Skybunda and Oasis. Finally, you will appreciate the wonderful sun set from the dunes. The night is free to appreciate Broadway, the trendy central street of Canoa Quebrada, which will surprise you with a lot of restaurants, bars and little shops.
Sixth day: Today, you will have the chance to experience the most spectacular buggy tour in Brazil, to see the most beautiful Colored Cliffs that are between Canoa Quebrada and Ponta Grossa / Icapui, with its sea full of lobsters and shrimps. As in Beberibe, the time of this buggy ride depends on the low tide. You will have the night free.
Seventh day: On the seventh day, you will be free to decide if you wish to relax at the poolside, on the beach or choose a new excursion, a mud bath or one of the many other options. B!S, your local connection, will be happy to help you with your choice. At night B!S will host a dinner party to celebrate the last day together, before your return home.
Eighth day: Transfer out with panoramic tour in Fortaleza.
