Place of event: Praia dos Estévãos, Canoa Quebrada
Normally, each jangada, the small, traditional fishing boats of the Ceara coast, is sponsored by a pousada, a restaurant or another provider of tourist services. The funds are used to refurbish and paint the boats, and to purchase new sails where the names of the sponsors are painted.
The sails can be any colour, so on the day of this race, the beach seams a painter's palette.

Meet your local connection in Canoa Quebrada, the hardworking team of Brazil Incoming Services! We offer an extensive range of eco-friendly activities and programs and are proud to be a part of whl.travel and promote responsible tourism in our incredible destination.
