Brazil’s Ministry of Tourism has defined Canoa Quebrada and the surrounding Rising Sun Coast region as an important area for tourism development because of the huge potential which as yet has been untapped. Rota das Falésias is the first tour to be offered with the sole purpose of developing new destinations east of Fortaleza and opening the region to international tourism markets.
